Director of the Turkish Cultural Center of Boston, Oguz Ozyurt, and his colleagues have visited the CAC (Center for Arabic Cultures). We had a chance to meet with the president of the ogranization, Gheed Amara İtani. She spoke about how they carried out their programs and how they interacted with the community.
One thing that interested us was how they had built their ogranization and how it turned out to be successful. Eventually, we invited them to our program on the 15th and we gave Ms. Gheed and her friends traditional Ottoman Era gifts. The cultural center director is hoping to build a stronger community and is willing to do anything for it by communicating with numerous other cultural centers such as the Arabic one. We are hoping to meet with every type of cultural center and make the world a better place by opening up doors to dialogue and collaboration. In conclusion, the director of the Turkish Cultural Center agreed with the CAC about future goals and mutual aspirations, including the crucial steps needed to take together for a better community right here in Boston.
